Holland Hospital provides great eats for an even greater cause

While Culinary Cabaret may consist of fun and games, the event supports a very noteworthy cause.

Each year the annual event, hosted by Holland Hospital and its employees, is compromised of a variety of lakeshore cuisine, beverages and live music. In addition to the fine cuisine, attendees have the chance to bid on a wide range of luxurious prizes.

While the event provides thrilling entertainment and dinner to to those involved, the purpose of the event goes beyond tasty food and lavish prizes. The community’s attendance raises money to benefit the patients of the Holland Community Health Center.

The Holland Community Health Center provides primary care for uninsured and under-insured individuals and families within the greater Holland area. With 15,000 visits every year, the Holland Community Health Center provides nearly 5,900 uninsured and under-insured women, men and children with access to high-quality, affordable health care.

Thanks to the large volume of participants from the local community, the 2018 Culinary Cabaret raised $168,500. The combined efforts of Holland Hospital and the community help deliver support to those in need.
