Sparrow Hospital: Mobile Health Clinic Expands Service Throughout Lansing Area

Sparrow is working hard to ensure that all residents in the capital area have access to healthcare. In partnership with the Ingham County Health Department and Dean Transportation, Sparrow provided a free mobile health clinic to offer screenings and other services at four sites in Ingham County in 2018.

The mobile health clinic relies on collaboration between multiple local departments and businesses: Dean Transportation provides the driver, the Ingham County Health Department provides the medical assistants, lab technicians and community health worker and Sparrow provides the medical staff.

Services provided at the mobile clinics include immunizations, wellness education, health screenings and more.
